This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") pertains to our Shared Hosting and WordPress Plans.
It governs your utilization of the Services and is integrated by reference into the Terms of Service of Cyber Edge Hosting LLC. Unless specified otherwise, terms defined in this AUP carry the meanings assigned in the Terms of Service. Cyber Edge Hosting LLC reserves the right to amend this AUP at any time without prior notice.
The Services offered by Cyber Edge Hosting LLC are to be used solely for lawful purposes. You agree to adhere to all relevant laws, rules, and regulations in relation to your use of the Services. Cyber Edge Hosting LLC retains the authority to deny service to any individual. Any content that, in our opinion, contravenes this AUP in any way may be removed from our servers (or otherwise disabled), with or without prior notification. A failure to respond to an email from our abuse department within the designated timeframe may lead to the suspension or termination of the Services.
You are accountable for the actions of your agents, representatives, and end-users ("Users") and must ensure their compliance with this AUP. The Services are to be utilized exclusively for legitimate business and commercial activities, and you must not engage in any actions that, at the sole discretion of Cyber Edge Hosting LLC, may be deemed illegal, offensive, abusive, or that could disrupt or negatively impact the Services or their usage (including intentional attempts to overload a system and conduct broadcast attacks) or that could expose Cyber Edge Hosting LLC to criminal or civil liability.
Prohibited Uses
Infringement of Intellectual Property Rights.
The use of the Services to violate the intellectual property rights of others is strictly forbidden. This prohibition encompasses, but is not limited to, the unauthorized reproduction or distribution of films, music, literature, images, software/warez, or any other copyrighted materials. Engaging in the sale or offering for sale of counterfeit goods will lead to the immediate termination of your account. Any account identified as infringing upon the intellectual property rights of others will be promptly removed or access to the infringing material will be disabled. Accounts that repeatedly violate this policy will face suspension or termination.
If you suspect that your intellectual property rights are being infringed, please contact abuse@CyberEdgeHosting.com. For claims of copyright infringement, Cyber Edge Hosting LLC adheres to the notice and takedown procedures outlined in the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA").
Using a shared account as a backup/storage device.
Utilizing a shared hosting account as a backup or storage solution is prohibited, except for one cPanel backup of the same account. It is advised against creating backups of existing backups.
Unacceptable Material
Zero Tolerance Adult Content Policy
Cyber Edge Hosting LLC enforces a strict zero tolerance policy regarding adult content. Any material deemed as 'adult material' is strictly prohibited on our servers. This encompasses all forms of media that may feature nudity, partial nudity, or any other content of an adult nature as determined solely by Cyber Edge Hosting LLC. Any violations of this policy will result in immediate termination of service without a refund.

- Tell A Friend Scripts
- Anonymous or Bulk SMS Gateways
- Bitcoin Miners
- PayDay Loan Sites (including any site related to PayDay loans, PayDay loan affiliate progams, etc)
- Hacking, phishing, spamming, scamming, identity theft, fraud, forgery, deception, virus or malware distribution, network attacks, and interference with any other user’s use of the Services.
- The unauthorized access, monitoring, collection, or use of data, systems or networks.
- Transmitting, distributing or storing illegal or fraudulent information or material or information or material that will infringe or otherwise violate any privacy, intellectual property, publicity or other personal rights including, any copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary right.
- Engaging in offensive activities such as harassment or transmitting or distributing content that is inappropriate, obscene, defamatory, threatening, abusive, that advocates violence, or that violates a law, regulation, or public policy.
Furthermore, you and your Users are required to adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and rules concerning your utilization of the Services, particularly those pertaining to data protection and privacy, in addition to regulations governing unsolicited commercial electronic communications.
Child Pornography Prohibited.
Content deemed potentially harmful to minors, as assessed solely by Cyber Edge Hosting LLC, is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, child pornography or any material that may be interpreted as such. Any website identified as hosting or linking to child pornography will be suspended immediately and without prior notice.
Other Prohibited Content.
We maintain the authority to deny service to any individual. Any content that we deem to be obscene, threatening, unlawful, or in violation of our Terms of Service or this Acceptable Use Policy may be removed from our servers (or otherwise disabled), with or without prior notification.
Unacceptable Resource Usage
You may not:
- Use twenty-five percent (25%) or more of our system resources for longer than ninety (90) seconds at a time. Activities that could cause this excessive use, include but are not limited to: CGI scripts, FTP, PHP, HTTP, etc.
- Run stand-alone, unattended server-side processes at any point in time on the server. This includes any and all daemons, such as IRCD.
- Run any type of web spider or indexer (including Google Cash / AdSpy) on shared servers.
- Run any software that interfaces with an IRC (Internet Relay Chat) network.
- Run any bit torrent application, tracker, or client. You may link to legal torrents off-site, but may not host or store them on our shared servers.
- Participate in any file-sharing/peer-to-peer activities
- Run any gaming servers such as counter-strike, half-life, battlefield1942, etc.
- Run cron entries with intervals of less than fifteen (15) minutes.
- Run any MySQL queries longer than fifteen (15) seconds. MySQL tables should be indexed appropriately.
- Include the local file rather than the URL when using PHP, include functions for including a local file. Instead of including "http://yourdomain.com/include.php"), use "include.php".
- Force html to handle server-side code (like php and shtml) to help reduce usage.
Zero Tolerance Spam Policy
We maintain a strict policy against the distribution of unsolicited emails, bulk messaging, and spam. Any use of 'safe lists,' purchased lists, or the sale of lists will be classified as spam. We reserve the right to terminate the account of any user who engages in spamming, with or without prior notice.
Websites promoted through spam (Spamvertised) are prohibited from being hosted on our servers. This policy encompasses, but is not limited to, spam transmitted via fax, telephone, postal mail, email, instant messaging, or usenet/newsgroups. No organization or entity listed in the ROKSO may be hosted on our servers. Any user account that leads to our IP space being blacklisted will be promptly suspended and/or terminated.
Cyber Edge Hosting LLC retains the right to mandate modifications or disable any website, account, database, or other component that fails to adhere to our policies, or to implement any necessary changes in an emergency at our sole discretion.
Additionally, Cyber Edge Hosting LLC reserves the right to impose a cleanup fee or any costs associated with blacklist removal on the account holder responsible for sending unsolicited emails, at our sole discretion.
Defamation Policy
Websites hosted on the servers of Cyber Edge Hosting LLC in the United States are subject to U.S. law. Consequently, in accordance with Section 230(c) of the Communications Decency Act, Cyber Edge Hosting LLC maintains a policy of not removing allegedly defamatory content from websites hosted on our servers unless such content has been legally determined to be defamatory by a court, as demonstrated by a court order. As a web hosting provider, Cyber Edge Hosting LLC does not act as a publisher of User content and is not equipped to assess the truthfulness of individual defamation claims. We depend on the judicial system and the courts to ascertain whether material is genuinely defamatory. In instances where a court order identifies material as defamatory, libelous, or slanderous, we will take steps to disable access to that material. Likewise, if a U.S. court issues an injunction against specific content or material, we will adhere to that order and remove or restrict access to the specified material.
Cyber Edge Hosting LLC's Rights
Cyber Edge Hosting LLC retains the authority to investigate any actual, suspected, or alleged breaches of this Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) at all times. You are required to reasonably assist Cyber Edge Hosting LLC in the investigation and rectification of any actual or alleged violations of this AUP by yourself or any User. Additionally, Cyber Edge Hosting LLC reserves the right to collaborate with legal authorities and third parties in the investigation of any alleged breaches of this AUP, which may include revealing the identity of any User that Cyber Edge Hosting LLC believes is accountable for such violations. Cyber Edge Hosting LLC may also employ technical measures to prevent violations of the AUP.
Furthermore, nothing in this AUP shall restrict Cyber Edge Hosting LLC's legal rights and remedies that may be available under law or equity.
Disclaimer
Cyber Edge Hosting LLC is not obligated to oversee user activities and disclaims any liability for misuse of the Services by Users. Furthermore, Cyber Edge Hosting LLC holds no responsibility for any materials or information created, stored, maintained, transmitted, or accessible through the Services by Users or third parties, and is not required to monitor or exert editorial control over such content. Should Cyber Edge Hosting LLC become aware of any material that breaches this Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) and/or potentially subjects Cyber Edge Hosting LLC to civil or criminal liability, it may choose to block access to such material, although it is not mandated to do so. Unless explicitly stated in this AUP, Cyber Edge Hosting LLC denies any obligation to individuals who have not entered into a contractual agreement with Cyber Edge Hosting LLC for the use of the Services.
AUP Violations
Your Services may be suspended or terminated, with or without prior notice, in the event of any breach of this Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). If necessary, such violations will be reported to the relevant law enforcement authorities.
Failure to reply to an email from our abuse department within forty-eight (48) hours, or as indicated in the email, may lead to the suspension or termination of your Services. All issues related to abuse must be addressed through a trouble ticket or email, and a response will be provided within forty-eight (48) hours.
