Moving a game server from another provider? Choose Yes, help me migrate under Need help migrating your current server? (FREE!) when configuring your order. This records your preference. It does not automatically create a support ticket or start a transfer.
After placing your order, open a Game Servers support ticket and request your free migration. Include:
- Your Cyber Edge Hosting service number and the game you are moving.
- The name of your current provider and whether its panel is still accessible.
- The current game version and any mods, plugins or custom server software.
- What you want transferred, such as the world, player data, configuration and mod files.
- Your preferred transfer time and whether players are still using the original server.
Do not put passwords, private keys, game authentication keys or payment details in the checkout migration field. Describe the access you have in your ticket; support can advise how to provide any required access privately. Keep an independent backup of the original server before the transfer.
Leave the original hosting service available until the copied server has been checked. After migration, confirm that the server starts, your world and player progress are present, and the required mods or plugins load. Join using the new address shown in your Cyber Edge Hosting panel and ask your players to update their saved connection details.
If you chose No at checkout, you can still contact Game Servers support to ask for migration help. For a trial server, requesting migration or opening a ticket does not pause or extend the 24-hour trial. Contact Billing before expiry if you want to retain the trial server.
