Use this guide for a Minecraft Java Edition service. Open your server in the Cyber Edge Hosting game panel; your billing login and game-panel login may be separate.

Start and join

  1. Open Console. Wait for installation to finish, then click Start if the server is offline. Allow the first world to generate. If the console requests EULA acceptance, review the Minecraft terms before completing that step.
  2. Find the installed Minecraft version in the startup output. Launch that same Java Edition version on your computer. Do not assume the newest launcher profile matches your server.
  3. Copy the server's connection address and assigned game port from the panel. Use the complete address:port, without https://. The panel website address is not the game address.
  4. In Minecraft, select Multiplayer → Add Server or Direct Connection, enter that address, and join. These are the official Java connection steps.

If joining fails

A version mismatch means the client and server need compatible versions; Minecraft's connection guide explains this requirement. A whitelist rejection means the owner must allow your exact Java player name. A timeout needs a check of the assigned address, port and server console before changing anything.

After joining, place a small marker, disconnect and reconnect to check persistence. If you own the service, finish your session with the panel's normal Stop control before maintenance. Send a Game Servers support ticket with the service number, game version, error text and time if you need help. Keep login details out of screenshots.
