Use this guide for your Cyber Edge Hosting PC community server. Check compatibility with support before planning console or cross-platform sessions; a PC dedicated-server order is not a promise of access from every edition.

Prepare the first session

  1. Sign in to the Game Server Control Panel and select your Sandstorm service.
  2. Open Startup, choose a recognizable Server Name, and save it. Keep the supplied Default Map and Scenario Name for your first test.
  3. Open Console and start the server. Wait for the game to finish loading its map and scenario. A process that has just started may not be ready for players yet.
  4. Copy the assigned IP and game port from Overview or Console. The query port is used for browser queries and is not a substitute for the game port when joining directly.

Join your community server

Launch the matching PC game version and open Play → Community Servers. Refresh the list and look for your saved server name. You can also use Connect to IP with the assigned address in IP:PORT form. Enter the server's join password if prompted.

For the first test, reach the map, spawn, play briefly, then disconnect and reconnect. This checks more than just seeing the server listed. Invite your group after that succeeds.

Game-stat tokens and Steam tokens are separate from the join address. Do not enter invented token values or share private tokens with players. Ask support if you need statistics or other advanced features; availability can depend on the publisher's current requirements.

If joining fails, open a support ticket and choose Game Servers with the service number, exact error, time and whether direct connection behaves differently from the browser. Include the map/scenario names, but leave passwords and tokens out.
