BeamMP adds multiplayer to BeamNG.drive. You need an up-to-date copy of BeamNG.drive and the official BeamMP launcher on your gaming computer.

Prepare your server

  1. Open the Game Server Control Panel and select your BeamMP service.
  2. Open Startup and check that Authentication Key contains your own BeamMP Keymaster key. If you supplied it during checkout, do not replace it unnecessarily. Create keys privately at BeamMP Keymaster. Use a separate key for each simultaneously running server; never share a key in screenshots or tickets.
  3. Choose your server name and map in Startup, save the changed fields, then return to Console and click Start. Wait for startup to finish without an authentication error.
  4. Copy the server's assigned IP and game port from Overview or Console. Use your service's actual values, including the port.

Join and test

  1. Launch BeamNG.drive through BeamMP and keep the launcher running.
  2. Open the multiplayer menu and sign in to your BeamMP account. Guest access may be restricted by the server.
  3. Choose Direct Connect, enter the assigned IP and port, then connect.
  4. Allow the map and required resources to load. Spawn one vehicle, drive briefly, then disconnect and reconnect.

For a public server, refresh the server list and search for the name saved in Startup. A private server can accept direct connections without appearing in that list. See the official connection and key guide.

If joining fails, open a support ticket and choose Game Servers. Include your service number, the exact launcher error and the time of the attempt. Keep the Authentication Key private.
