¹ Standard setups use vanilla Minecraft Java or the Bedrock dedicated server. Plugins, alternative server software, modpacks, and add-ons need compatibility and resource review. The two editions use separate services; cross-edition play is not included by default.

How memory, CPU, and backups work

Memory and storage labels use GB for readability; each displayed GB represents 1,024 MiB of allocated capacity. CPU limits are shared ceilings: 100% allows up to one vCPU’s scheduling time and does not reserve a dedicated core. Backup counts are local storage quotas, with no automatic schedule or offsite protection included. Player capacity depends on world activity, view or simulation distance, and installed content.

Ask our team Compare Java & Bedrock plans
Which Minecraft edition should I choose?

Choose Java hosting for compatible Minecraft Java Edition clients, or Bedrock hosting for compatible Bedrock Edition clients. The plans run separate server software, so confirm which edition your group plays before choosing.

Can Java and Bedrock players join the same server?

Cross-edition play is not included by default. Tell us which clients and platforms your group uses so we can review any proposed compatibility setup before activation.

Can Bedrock players connect from consoles or mobile devices?

Players need a compatible Bedrock client. Connection methods for third-party dedicated servers vary by device, especially on consoles. Tell us your platforms so we can confirm the connection method before activation.

Can I use plugins, modpacks, or add-ons?

Standard setups use vanilla Minecraft Java or the Bedrock dedicated server. Share the server software, plugin list, modpack, or Bedrock add-ons you want; compatibility and resource needs must be reviewed before we confirm the setup.

Can I bring an existing world?

Contact us with the world’s edition, version, approximate size, and any plugin, mod, or add-on requirements. We’ll discuss compatibility, the import process, and any setup work before proceeding.

Do players need their own Minecraft licenses?

Yes. Each player supplies their own compatible game client and license. The applicable Minecraft terms must be accepted before the server is activated.

Can I order a plan immediately?

Contact us to confirm availability first. We review the requested setup and suitable capacity, then confirm activation arrangements with you.

Are backups automatic or offsite?

The listed count is a quota for local backups. It does not include an automatic backup schedule or independent offsite protection. Keep your own copies of important worlds and files; ask us about your backup requirements.
